Bear the Light is a faith-rooted movement created for those who feel deeply and sometimes carry that weight alone.
Here, sensitivity is not something to hide — it is something to honor.
Through books, workshops, and speaking events, we offer steady light, gentle truth, and a community where you are seen.

Why Bear The Light Exists

Bear the Light began with my own childhood — growing up deeply sensitive in a world that often misunderstands and even crushes sensitivity. I used to look around and assume that because other kids didn’t seem as sensitive, something must have been wrong with me.
Years later, I reconnected with classmates and discovered many of them had felt the same way. It was as if we were living on our own trauma-filled islands, unaware that we were right beside one another all along.

Years later still, I watched someone I love begin to withdraw in the same quiet ways I once had. I wanted to help. I thought I knew what he needed — because it was what I had needed.

But I learned something humbling: every sensitive heart carries its own story. And sometimes light doesn’t disappear — it simply grows dim when it feels unseen.

This movement exists to make sure no sensitive heart feels invisible in the dark — and to help us recognize the lights on the islands beside us, so together we can share that light and make the world brighter.
